It gives details of sea caves, cliffs and geos to explore, secret beaches, wild swims, and the huge diversity of cultural and wildlife highlights that every island has to offer. Lisa Drewe, author Beautiful photography and maps combine with engaging travel which writing charts historical, geographical and wildlife highlights, as well as the authors own adventures and mishaps. About the author Lisa Drewe has hiked, biked, run, swum and kayaked around over 150 of Britains islands and before that spent her adult life exploring the mountains and islands of the world. Initially trained as a biologist, her journey led her to swim with tiger sharks in Oman, dodge gunfire under the Swords of Qadisiyah, and hang from a helicopter over the Sydney Olympic Stadium. Lisa lives in Wiltshire and the Isle of Skye with her husband.
