The POC VPD Air Back is a very comfortable and fully certified spine protector, passing EN1621:2 Level 1 safety standards. The back plate is made using POCs VPD (Visco-elastic Polymer Dough) material which is soft and flexible but hardens on impact to provide maximum protection. There are small air channels and a 3D mesh cover to help moisture escape preventing you from getting too sweaty. The shoulder strap system lets you choose where the strap sits across the sternum and there is a height-adjustable waist strap, both of which ensure a snug fit that keeps the protector securely in place.
