The shaft curves for efficient anchoring but is straight enough for planting into snow and comfortable walking. The adjustable and removable Trigrest pommel gives support when swinging. The Sum'Tec Adze's versatile modular design includes an interchangeable pick and adze. This means the Sum'Tec can be set up to suit whatever the day demands. The Sum'Tec Adze pairs well with Petzl's Sum'Tec Hammer ice axe.
